Dock levelers form a ramp to bridge the distance between the dock and truck. They compensate for the up-and-down movement of the trailer during loading and unloading. And they must support extremely heavy loads, service a wide range of truck heights, and compensate for tilted trucks.
The two common types of dock levelers are recessed and edge-of-dock.

A Mechanical Edge-of-Dock Leveler is perfect for a platform with a lift mechanism where space is limited. It easily mounts to the dock face and provides a 5-inch working range above and below the dock.
Hydraulic Edge-of-Dock Leveler
When you have a platform raised by a main hydraulic cylinder where space is limited and the working range of a full size, pit-style leveler is not needed, use the Hydraulic Edge-of-Dock Leveler.
